The models at this year’s Victoria’s Secret fashion show will finally have some competition. Nicki Minaj has officially been added as a performer at the annual fashion event, after Cee Lo Green was forced to pull out of the lineup. Barbie will be strutting her stuff alongside Kanye West and Maroon 5, who are also scheduled to perform, and the only surprise here is that Nicki wasn’t originally added to the bill.
A set list has not been announced for the show but Minaj will likely perform hits like “Super Bass” and “Moment 4 Life” from her debut LP Pink Friday. And since Kanye West is headlining the blowout show, it’s more than likely that fans will get a chance to see them perform the hit single “Monster” from West’s fifth solo album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
The show will be filmed in New York City on November 9 and it will air on November 29 at 10 p.m. on CBS. Supermodels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr and Doutzen Kroes are all scheduled to walk the runway in Victoria’s Secret latest pieces.
Nicki Minaj will warm up for the new gig with a performance at the launch party for Versace’s new H&M Collection in New York City on Tuesday night (November 8). She will be the featured performer alongside Prince at the exclusive event, hosted by Donatella Versace.
